The Snowden Trail Challenge is an event for EVERYONE! Whether you race to compete, or challenge yourself to finish, first timers and experienced athletes of all ages are represented at this grass roots and community oriented event.
Families love the kid friendliness of our event! The popcorn machine and bouncy castle do a great job of entertaining young spectators and participants.
The PRT Nursery grounds offer a wide open field space for chilling out on camp chairs and blankets. A great space for enjoying the post race awards!
The relaxed and friendly atmosphere keeps our racers and volunteers coming back annually.

The 50K is an intermediate level two loop bike/run course comprising some road and mainly single track trails. Including Grilled Cheese, Mudhoney Pass, Lost Lake, Riley Lake, Lookout Loop, 10 & 11 Licks, Escargot and Frog Legs. The 50K distance can be a solo trail run, solo mountain bike, or mountain bike relay, run relay or combination run/bike relay.
The 25K is an intermediate level single loop bike or run course comprising some road and mainly single track trails. Including Grilled Cheese, Mudhoney Pass, Lost Lake, Riley Lake, Lookout Loop, Escargot and Frog Legs.
The 15K is a beginner/intermediate trail run and youth ride on road and single track trail on the Lost Frog and Lost Lake Loop. Nice flowing trails with some hills, great for a first trail race or mountain bike race.
2K+ Fun Run or Ride! Kids can choose 1, 2 or 3 laps of the 2K course. Registration by donation to the CR Bike Park Society on the morning of the race, before 12:30.
